I began my academic career as an educational interpreter in Dade County in 2000.  I had the privilege of interpreting for a deaf student for several years.  After that student graduated, I transitioned into the classroom as a special education paraprofessional while I went back to college to earn my masters degree in teaching and have been teaching special education and English since that time.  I have been involved in many clubs and organizations over the years and am currently an assistant cheerleading coach and the chair of the graduation committee. I love everything about Dade County Schools and I hope to retire right here at DCHS in the future.

While not at school, I enjoy spending time with my family.  We enjoy the Georgia Bulldogs, the Dade County Wolverines, attending sporting events, and planning and going on road trips.
